Skynet Solutions Web and Email Hosting

Our Basic, Business, Business Plus, and Business Prime hosting plans are on a shared server space. However, we also offer a dedicated server plan for those who require optimum performance. All of our Business web hosting plans also include dedicated email hosting account, guaranteed storage space and monthly time allotments for minor content changes or updates. 24/7 monitoring and server maintenance is included.

* These hours can be used for items such as: providing specific reports, image updates, text updates, page modifications, page creation, SEO adjustments, product creation or modifications, coupon codes, user management, eCommerce support, phone consultations, customer support or general guidance. Any un-used hours will not accumulate for use in another month or project. Overages in time will be billed at our normal hourly rate of $125 an hour.

** All hosting packages, except the dedicated server option, will receive a free month of service with annual hosting service payments.

Service Level Monitoring

Skynet Solutions strives for 99.9% uptime and has achieved it consistently throughout our history. Skynet utilizes multiple 3rd party services to monitor uptime of our infrastructure. In the event of service interruption due to internal hardware or software, staff has the tools and built-in redundancy to alleviate the outage quickly. 

In the event of service interruption due to a third-party device, for example, internet connection provider, we work closely with that provider to remedy the outage quickly.  

Backup Management

  • Database backups and storage backups are performed nightly.  
  • Email notifications of failures are sent to our support staff in the event of a failure. 
  • Backups are stored on redundant array infrastructure. 
  • Backups are encrypted and copied to a third-party provider for offsite storage nightly. 

Monitoring and Information Communication (Significant Events, Reports)

Skynet Solutions keeps all customers informed about incidents, issues, updates, and escalations by immediately contacting the named responsible on the customer side. The information is sent by email according to Skynet’s customer emergency contact list. 

In case of significant system incident, a Skynet Incident Report Form is sent to the customer.
